Hiking & Dragon Boat.
Toul’s canoë – kayak club organized saturday on September 4th a new activity combining the both pleasures of hiking and Dragon Boat paddling. 39 walkers from “Les Randonneurs Houdemontais” club, accompanied with a few ALTCK’s members launched this new animation . They enjoyed the happiness of discovering Moselle river’s beauties , its dead-end branches and the Bouvade stream’s shady charm , glipsing, among others, a beaver’s dive, interrupted in its morning nap .
On foot – fluvial journey.
The company divided itself in two groups : the first paddling the morning and walking the afternoon, the other one doing the contrary on a Toul / Pierrre-la-Treiche journey. Everybody met at Pierre-la-Treiche to share a friendly aperitif before enjoying the packed lunch.
Back to TOUL.
First arrived in Toul, the walker’s teams lend a hand to the paddler’s team to move both dragon boats back to the ground and store them in the club premises . Eveybody met again around a friendship drink offered by the ALTCK, building nice contacts between members of both associations. This Dragon hiking has been a beautiful experience where in spite of full day fatigue, joy enlighted each face.
